It first started with designer Yves Saint Laurent Cage Shoes which many were indifferent about- the futuristic, edgy look was one of an acquired taste. Now other designers such as Jimmy Choo and Pierre Hardy have partaken in this sensational fashion accessory for this season. Its contemporary, architectural design has swept the runways to high profile celebrities and now to the streets. Some would compare this look to the gladiator sandal; however the caged shoe features countless horizontal and vertical straps that enclose the user’s foot.
The caged shoe is available in sandals, platform heels (my fav) and high stilettos. You can also find a large array of colors, designs, and embellishments of this shoe. With a wide variety of styles offered, any women can pull off this look. Most pair this shoe with a short mini, jumpsuit and leggings. The cage shoe is great for spring and even summer!!!
love the shoes...but why is it the cute shoes hurt the most? know any tips on ways to make them feel better at the end of the night? Gels? pads? even better...a set of flip flops in my back seat to change into after I leave the event...so my feet will stop having thier own heartbeat at what feels like throbbing...lololololololol
